Anthony Styles
Anthony is an experienced actor having worked extensively in film and television. He was very much instrumental in the success of He Came With Wheels. He took the lead in ‘In the Frame, and continues to support our work.
Kieran Bright

Kieran is also well known for his work within the UK disability community. He now lives in France and edits his own website about village life in the South of France.
Gary Thomas
Gary is now well known within the circuit and can often be seen at festivals and networking events. He recently secured British Film Council funding so expect to see a lot more of this creative film maker.
Nick Bright
Has written and made numerous short films, including directing and editing Sir Limelight and True, Dare, Kiss for the 48 hour and 24 hour film 2003 and 2004 competitions. He has also written and had performed 2 one-act plays The Hitman and Blind Date, which were performed in a local Sussex theatre in 1998 and 1999. He is currently working on several other projects including a horror script called Cruel Summer, with a tagline: Be afraid of the day not the dark, and a modern version of Alice in Wonderland. He is the co-writer of The Devil’s Chord and Silent Code. Richard Edwards
Richard has continued his acting, particularly with stage work and is a creative influence and champion for change for disabled people both politically and socially. David George
Is a well respected theatre actor having taken roles from Ackbourne to Zola, and Pinter to Panto. He prefers the classic roles but his film career has often seen him cast as a doctor or psychiatrist. . Carrie Fewins Actress/theatre/opera director with a trained Alto voice. Carrie also plays bassoon and piano. She has a BA (Hons Dunelm) Music - The University of Durham Amy Laing Actress/singer and dance instructor. Amy has a BA (Hons) in Applied Performing Arts and an HND in Musical Theatre. |
Fresh Ideas ImplementedFreshly Starched Shorts is a company with a very clear aim - keep film and media live with issues that are not always easy to tackle. It was this very idea that led to the production of Freshly Starched Shorts’ first film - 'He Came with Wheels'. A story about a gay rent boy, a besotted client and a wheelchair. The film's mission - to show disability and sexuality together in one upbeat film. It was the struggle to obtain funding for Wheels that gave its creators the idea of setting up their own company. Filmed by the Thames and the M16 building for inspiration (and a thumping headache for the producers) - the jaunty narrative, assisted by a mood provoking soundtrack - focuses on a photo shoot. The shoot - a homage to Bond, complete with two very attentive models. But for our hero, when the camera stops reality kicks in. And for our models, well they're in luck. For our next foray into the world of upbeat short film - In The Frame: The Shoot We took the guerrilla route with a 2 minute promo. We hope to film the fifteen minute script later this year.
